swing swing!

well....from 2 buyins down to 1 1/2 buyins up to down $4.05. 1000 hands of pain tonight it was a huge grind for the first 700 or so hands being down down down, then to swing back to 30 ahead to finish down again. QQ/KK/AA didnt hold and when they did i picked up blinds hoooray!

again im pretty happy to only be $4 down after the session, could quite easily have been way behind but i stuck it out and grinded my way back to pretty much even. stupid rigged game running QQ into KK on a 8 high flop SB VS BB loool!

another 1000 hands!

yawnnnnnnn just laying in bed as i type this about to go to sleep! (stars downtime + work tomorrow = early night). as the title says i played about another 1000 hands tonight, for +$48.05. was down 2 buyins early so this actually was a pretty good night for me! had aces/kings cracked at least 6 times, and really really grinded the rest of the night and ending up playing quite well.

im still running at 12.54BB/100 which im starting to think will be sustainable at this level until i start moving up and playing against better players obv.

decided i would start playing cash games again instead, starting with proper br management! see how it goes.

im at 10c/25c atm, played ~2000 hands today for +140.40 @ 13.93BB/100, good start! played a couple of hands like a fkn idiot aswell which has cost me quite a bit, one in particular...

The creation!

Welcome to the new home of the rofler! I created this blog primarily to help me track my results, post interesting hands that i think should be discussed, and to vent my frustration when the cards hit me right in the face (99% of the time).

With work monday-friday 830-430 it makes it hard to play the volume i'm really looking to play, but after tonight i should hopefully be able to play more at night (assuming we lose which we probably will since i havent played the game in ages). So apart from mon-fri nights then ill be hitting it up pretty hard on the weekends!

I feel like its about time i hit something big, ive been playing for some time now and ive had a couple of decent cashes (5th in a 109 on stars for 1600, 6th in 24+2 on FT for ~700) but since then ive been in a bit of a drought and not really playing alot. Its time to step it up and take this a little more seriously!
